Turn On All The Lights
All that I’m seeing I think are just shadows
And I’ve just been singing my songs to a wall
I try to move, but I can’t go nowhere
I try to speak, but then I clam up
Cars backed up on the road like a sheep herd
And I’m not certain that I’m even here
The sun hangs low, the sky is red now
And I’ve gotta find something I can do
So turn on all the lights
Tell me I’m alright
I don’t feel so good
I think I’m going down
Or maybe I’m just losing it
I’m not sure what else I can say, dear
I’m not sure what else you can do
Just leave the key there under the doormat
And I’ll try to call you before I come home
And turn on all the lights
Tell me I’m alright
I don’t feel so good
I think I’m going down
Or maybe I’m just losing it
Airplanes at night look a lot like they’re fireflies
I guess that they’ll do in place of the stars
If it’s gonna end, did it even happen?
Stoplights or taillights, no I can’t be sure
So turn on all the lights
Tell me I’m alright
I don’t feel so good
I think I’m going down
Or maybe I’m just losing it
Calm down, no I can’t stay calm now
I’ve lost control
I think I’m getting nowhere
I’m just afraid
So turn on all the lights
Tell me I’m alright
I don’t feel so good
I think I’m going down
Or maybe I’m just losing it
